​Can you believe it’s already September? As someone from the UK, I always think of September as a cooler month. Back home, the temperature has already dropped to about 20°C on the warmest days. But here in Japan, it’s still over 30°C!

もう9月だなんて、信じられますかイギリス出身の私にとって、9月といえば涼しくなってくる季節というイメージがあります。 イギリスでは、暖かい日でも気温はすでに20℃くらいまで下がっています。 でもここ日本では、まだ30℃を超える日が続いていますね！

​I find the summer so hot, so I’m really looking forward to autumn’s arrival and the cooler weather that comes with it. Autumn is my favorite time of year because there are so many celebrations, like Halloween and Bonfire Night. Plus, it means Christmas and the New Year are just around the corner!

夏はとても暑く感じるので、秋の訪れとそれに伴う涼しい気候を心待ちにしています。 秋は私の一番好きな季節です。ハロウィンやボンファイア・ナイトなど、楽しいイベントがたくさんありますし、クリスマスやお正月もすぐそこまで来ている感じがして、わくわくします！
