Hello everyone,

I hope you are well rested after the long weekend. It feels like winter has finally arrived. It’s a chilly day here in Fuji.

I heard that anyone can design the new emblem for the 2020 Tokyo Olympics. The deadline is approaching, and all designs must be submitted by December 7th. The original emblem was the subject of controversy when a Belgian designer accused them of plagiarism. It looked just like the logo for a theater in Belgium! I’m interested to see what the new emblem will look like. I thought the original design looked a little dull. I think the new one should have a brighter look.

The speech contest has finished, and that means we have already started planning for Hario’s next big event, the Christmas Party 2015. It’s always an extremely fun day, with games, songs, crafts, and gifts. Rumor has it that Santa might come and pay us a visit! Mark your calendar for the party. It promises to be an amazing party!

連休はいかが過ごされましたか？ついに冬がやってきたという気候になりましたね。今日の富士は寒い一日となっています。

さて2020年に東京でオリンピックが開催されるわけですが、そのオリンピックの新しいエンブレムアイデアが一般公募されるという事を聞きました。そしてその締切が近づいています。12月7日までに提出されなければならないようです。元のエンブレムはベルギーのデザイナーが盗作だと主張し議論されていました。確かにベルギーの博物館にあるロゴにそっくりだったと思います。公募される新しいエンブレムがどのようになるのか楽しみにしています。前回のロゴはつまらないと感じていました。なので新しいものはもっと明るい感じのものがいいなと思います。

スピーチコンテストが終わり、HARIO の大きなイベントの1つでもあるクリスマスパーティーの計画が始まりました。毎回、とても楽しいこのクリスマスパーティー、ゲームや歌、工作にクリスマスプレゼントなど目白押しです。噂によると、サンタクロースが来てくれるのだとか。ぜひクリスマスパーティーの日にちをカレンダーにメモしておいて下さいね。とても楽しいパーティーになること間違いなしです。
