A fun Golden Week 　楽しいゴールデンウィーク

Hello everyone,

I hope you had a great golden week. I`m just back from a nice, relaxing week off. Fortunately we had nice weather for the week, so I tried to make the most of it. Last Wednesday I took a trip to Tokyo to see the yaki-niku festival near Shibuya. I`m a big fan of flame grilled meat so I tried lots of beef, pork and sausages. It was all so delicious, I can`t wait to go again next year! There was also entertainment at the festival with singing and dancing on stage. I spent most of the festival in the shade as it was too hot for me. I still find it difficult to adjust to the Japanese humidity in summer.
I also got back into playing tennis during the week. I haven’t played in about a year so it took a while to get back into the swing of things. I played for the last three days straight, so my muscles are feeling sore today! I`m also a little sun burned, even though I used sun cream. I suppose my skin can`t take much sun at the start of summer. It`s good to have nice weather for tennis in Japan. When I was a teenager in Ireland I played tennis quite often. I remember I would have to stop playing when my hands went numb from the cold in winter. That`s not going to happen here in Fuji!

幸運にも天気も良かったので私はその天候を楽しみました先週の水曜日、渋谷近くで行われている焼肉フェスティバルを見に東京へ行ってきました。私はお肉が大好きなのでソーセージや豚肉、牛肉を沢山食べました。どれもとても美味しく、もう既に来年行くのが待ちきれませんまたその会場にはステージ上で歌やダンスを披露するエンターテイメントもあり、来場者を楽しませていました。
