Hello everyone,

 

It`s March and that means Spring is officially here, although the weather today doesn`t seem to think so. It also marks my first year anniversary of working with Hario English School. In March last year I started working here and I have had a fantastic time. Everything I`ve learned and experienced here has shaped me as a teacher and as a person. A lot has changed for me over the year I`ve spent here and I`m eagerly looking forward to everything that is to come over my next year here. I still remember my first day here, and I how impressed I was by the pace and energy of every class. It was great seeing how happy the students were to come to every class, walking into the room with big smiles. I had some trouble remembering and pronouncing all the names at first, but every student`s individual personality quickly grew on me. I know I`ll enjoy my next year here every bit as much, if not more.

Mark your calendars for St. Patrick’s Day on March 17th this month. On this holiday people all around the world celebrate being Irish by wearing green and drinking Guinness. There`s a parade held in most major cities around the world. Even Tokyo has a parade held by the Irish community living in Japan. If you ever get a chance to see a St. Patrick’s Day parade I highly recommend it.

みなさん、こんにちは。

３月ですね。春がやってくるはずなのに、今日は春らしくない天気ですね。

そして今日が、私がHARIOイングリッシュスクール （９月まではパイオニアランゲッジスクール）にきて

ちょうど一年の日です。

３月のはじめに働きはじめ、それから１年、とても有意義な一年でした。

この一年で学んだこと、経験したことで、私は講師として人として大きく成長したように思います。

この一年は変化がたくさんありました。次のこの2014年も、とても楽しみです。

HARIOでの初めての日を今でも覚えています。HARIOでの授業のスピードとエネルギーに圧倒されました。生徒達がとても授業を楽しんでいて、微笑ましく思いました。

最初は、日本人の生徒の皆さんの名前を正しく言えず、苦労しました。そして生徒達もこの一年で成長しました。今年も、皆さんの成長をみるのが楽しみです。

３月１７日は、セイントパトリックデーです。この日は、世界中の人たちが、アイリッシュ色である緑のものを着て、ギネスビールで祝います。世界各国の主な都市では、パレードも開かれます。日本でも東京でパレードが開かれます。もし、皆さんの周りでセイントパトリックデーのパレードがあったら、是非見に行かれることをおすすめします。
