Our Big Day Out!

Last weekend, Hario held its highly anticipated Big Day Out, and what a day it was! Our students had an absolute blast exploring the zoo, practicing their English, and making wonderful memories together!

先週末、ハリオでは待ちに待った Big Day Out（日本平動物園） が開催されました。当日は本当に素晴らしい一日になりました。生徒たちは動物園を探検したり、英語を練習したり、みんなで素敵な思い出をたくさん作ったりして、大いに楽しみました。

Our adventure began on Sunday morning. We all gathered at Fuji Station and hopped on the train, full of energy and excitement. Once we arrived we headed straight to the park for lunch. But soon, we were on the move again, taking a quick bus ride to the zoo!

私たちの冒険は日曜日の朝に始まりました。みんなで富士駅に集合し、元気いっぱい・ワクワクした気持ちで電車に乗り込みました。到着してからは、まず公園へ向かってランチタイム。ランチ後は、バスに乗って動物園へ出発しました。

To make the day even more interactive, the students played a thrilling game of Animal Bingo. As we walked around seeing all the different animals, the students had to use their English vocabulary to cross them off their bingo cards.

この日をさらにインタラクティブにするために、生徒たちはスリル満点の「アニマルビンゴ」に挑戦しました園内を歩きながらさまざまな動物を見つけていき、生徒たちは英語の語彙を使ってビンゴカードの動物を消していきました。

The fun didn’t stop when we left the zoo. After heading back to the park, we brought out the water pistols! The students had a fantastic time running around, and their absolute favorite activity was chasing down and spraying the teachers.

動物園を出ても楽しさは続きました。公園に戻ると、ついに水鉄砲の登場です。生徒たちは走り回って大はしゃぎし、特に先生たちを追いかけて水をかけるのが一番のお気に入りでした。
