Last Friday, I took my first class on a shopping trip to Mega Donki. It was such a fun and engaging experience for everyone! We walked around the store searching for items on our shopping lists while practising the English we had learned in class, all in a real-world setting outside the classroom.

先週の金曜日、授業の一環として初めてMegaドンキでのショッピングを体験しました。とても楽しく、参加した皆にとっても刺激的な経験でした！店内を歩き回りながら買い物リストに載っているアイテムを探して、授業で学んだ英語を実際に使うという、教室の外でのリアルな学びの場となりました

Some items were a bit tricky to find, which made the activity even more exciting, but in the end, we successfully located everything on our lists. I was especially impressed by how some of the students used their ingredients afterwards; some made pancakes, and others made soup.

It’s always rewarding to see students apply their English skills in everyday situations. Learning in this kind of environment really helps build confidence and makes the language feel much more relevant and useful. Overall, it was a great learning experience, and I’m looking forward to more activities like this in the future!

いくつかのアイテムを見つけるのは少し難しかったけれど、それがかえってアクティビティをよりワクワクするものにしました最終的には全員でリストのアイテムをすべて無事に見つけることができました

そして何より感動したのは、参加者の中には後で材料を使って、パンケーキを作ったりスープを作ったりした人がいたことです。

日常生活の中で英語スキルを活かす姿を見るのは、いつも嬉しいものです。このような環境で学ぶことは、自信を養うだけでなく、言語をより身近で役立つものに感じさせるとても効果的な方法です。全体として素晴らしい学びの経験となり、今後もこのような活動が楽しみです
