Hello everyone,

How is your week? It’s a busy period for us here at Hario. The Eiken written test is this Saturday. Good luck to all of our students who are taking it. Halloween is approaching. Have you got you costume ready yet? I’ve prepared mine already. I’m looking forward to see what everyone’s wearing. The Speech Contest is approaching too. We’re practicing our songs for the performance hard. Also, we have to decide which students will be selected to take part. Everyone’s practicing hard and making good speeches. It will be a very tough decision. Some people might be disappointed for not being picked. Please remember that the speech homework is a learning opportunity for everyone who does it and everyone will say their speech in front of their parents at the upcoming parent’s day classes. The speech contest is a just a bonus.

Our autumn campaign finished last week. Many new students joined. It’s nice to see so many new faces. Good luck to all of you at the start of your Hario career. I hope you have lots of fun here and learn lots of English. The most important thing about learning English (or anything really) is to try hard to communicate and not worry about making mistakes. If you make a mistake, then it’s really a good thing, because it gives us as teachers the chance to teach you something new and then you’ve learnt more English. So don’t be shy, don’t worry about making mistakes and I look forward to getting to know you all.

みなさんこんにちは。

今週はいかがお過ごしですかHARIO では忙しい時期に入りました。今週土曜日は英検の筆記テストがあります。受験をされる生徒の皆さんは頑張って下さいハロウィンも近づいています。皆さんはもうコスチュームは決まりましたか？私は準備完了しましたよ皆さんがどんな衣装を着るのか、とても楽しみにしています。スピーチコンテストも近づいてきています。10級、9級の発表タイムの歌の練習や、コンテストの出場者の選抜をしなければいけません。皆さん一生懸命練習してくれていて、とてもいいスピーチばかりなので決めるのが大変になりそうです選ばれずにがっかりする生徒さんもいるかもしれませんが、これだけは覚えておいてください。スピーチホームワークはスピーチの仕方を学ぶ為にあります。そして皆さん全員、これから控えている授業参観でスピーチを披露して頂くことになります。コンテストは「おまけ」と考えて下さい。

さて秋のキャンペーンが先週終了しました。沢山の生徒さんにご入会頂きました。ありがとうございますみなさんに教えることができて、とても嬉しく思います。HARIOでの英語、一緒に頑張りましょう！沢山の英語を学び、沢山楽しめると思います私が思うに英語を学ぶ最も重要な事は間違えることを恐れずに、一生懸命伝えようとすることだと思います。仮に間違えたとしても、実はそれはいい事なんです。なぜならそれがその生徒さんにとって新しいことだとわかるし、生徒さんもそれにより学ぶことができるからです。なので恥ずかしがらず、間違えを恐れず楽しんでください。みなさんのことをもっと沢山知ることを楽しみにしています。
