Hello everyone,

 

I hope you weren`t caught in the rain last night! There was a torrential downpour when we were leaving work yesterday. The road outside Hario turned into a river and I could see water pouring out of the drains at high speed. It was the heaviest rain I have ever seen in Japan. I heard there were downpours elsewhere in the country last night but it`s nice and sunny today. Hopefully Typhoon Noul keeps away from Japan this week and we see some good weather at the weekend.

 

Why? Because Hario camp 2015 is this weekend! We`re very excited and making final preparations now for the fun days ahead. Any students who attended last year`s camp will tell you they had a great time. This year we have even more fun and exciting activities planned. The camp takes place at Asagiri from Saturday morning to Sunday. We stayed in cabins last year, but this year we are staying in tents to give it a true camping experience.

 

We have some other camping surprises in store but the students will have to wait and see. Last year Hario and friends made a special guest appearance. I wonder if any famous characters will show up this year…

みなさんこんにちは。

 

昨晩は凄い雨でしたが、みなさん濡れなかったですか？私達がHARIOを出る時は物凄い勢いで雨が降っていました。HARIOの前の道は川のようになり、排水溝からももの凄い勢いで水が溢れていました

私が日本に来てから見た中で一番激しい雨でした。昨晩は日本の至る所で雨が降ったようですが、本日は晴れていい天気となりましたできれば今、日本に向かってきている台風も日本からそれて、週末にはよい天気に恵まれたいものです

 

というのも、2015年HARIOイングリッシュキャンプが今週末に行われるからです現在私達は最終準備中です。去年のキャンプに参加した生徒さんはとても楽しかったと言っていました。今年はさらに楽しい、アクティビティなど計画されています。今回は朝霧野外活動センターにて行われます。

去年はバンガローに宿泊しましたが、今年は本当のキャンプらしくテントに宿泊します

 

いろいろな”サプライズ”がありますがまだまだ秘密なので参加される生徒の皆さんはお楽しみにしていて下さい去年はHARIOの友達が姿を見せましたが今年はどうなんでしょうか
