Halloween is coming! もうすぐハロウィン！

Hello everyone,

October is here, and that means Halloween is just around the corner. If you are coming to Hario English School this month beware of the spooky decorations we`ve put up. Watch out for the spiders hanging from the ceiling! I hope you all have good ideas for this year`s Halloween costume. You have a month from now so get cracking on it.

We are back from a week off all rested and recuperated. I had a fun week, we visited Shiraito waterfall in Fujinomiya. It`s very impressive, the sunlight made rainbows along the waterfalls. We had hot weather considering it was the end of September. Last Sunday I took part in our local community sports day. My neighbourhood finished an impressive second (of 11) in the bowling relay. I was delighted with the result and our prize of bin bags. Unfortunately we finished last in the 100m relay. There were 14 people on each relay team and each member was a different age group. It started with 7 year olds and finished with 50+ year olds. I can`t remember the last time I ran flat out like that, it`s been so long!

みなさんこんにちは、

10月になり、もうすぐハロウィンです‼今月の教室は怖～いデコレーションになっているのでHARIO に来るときは注意して下さいね。たくさんの蜘蛛が、天井から吊り下がっています、気を付けて‼皆さんの今年の仮装がとっても楽しみです。あと1ヵ月あるので、ご準備をお願いします!!

HARIOの一週間の秋休みが終わりました。私は富士宮にある白糸の滝を訪れ、楽しい時間を過ごしました。太陽の光が滝にあたり、虹ができている様子はとても感動的でした。また、先週の土曜日はとても暑い天気の中、地域の運動会に参加してきました。

私のご近所さんはボーリングリレーですごい記録を出しました。賞としてゴミ袋をもらい、とても嬉しかったです。100mリレーでは残念ながらビリでした。年齢の異なる14人がリレーをするもので、7歳の子供たちからスタートし、アンカーは50歳以上の方々でした。最後に全速力で走ったのはいつだったでしょうか．．．もうずいぶん前の事です!!
