Hello everyone,

It`s the end of 2025, and what a great year it was here at Hario! Going back to the beginning of the year, we kicked off January with hopes for a fun and successful year of progress for our students. We had our annual shuffle of classes in February, which is a great chance for students to get to know more of our other students. We welcomed new students in our Spring Campaign, so it was nice to meet our newest classes. In March, we celebrated St. Patrick`s Day, and everyone wore green to make me feel like I was back home in Ireland. In June we took some of our classes on an English shopping trip. We also had an amazing day-trip to Makaino farm, where our students had a great time playing with farm animals and having a picnic. In August we held a special summer class for our students to enjoy some English fun and games during the summer vacation. In October we had our big Halloween party. It was an awesome and spooky week of fun and games. Everyone wore brilliant costumes. Some of them were scary, some were funny, and they were all fantastic! In November the biggest event of the year took place, our Speech Contest of course. Everyone had an amazing time, it was a magical day. On to December, and last weekend we had our Christmas Party. We had Christmas games, a craft, snacks, drinks, and at the end Santa came! He flew all the way from the North Pole just to give the kids presents. He had a hard time finding his way to Hario, so he called us from his sleigh. The kids shouted, “We are here!”, which Santa could hear with his super sense of hearing. The noise led him all the way to Hario, and the students were delighted to meet him and ask some questions. What a great year we`ve had! I`m looking forward to all of our adventures in 2026. 2025年も終わりに近づき、今年もハリオで本当に素晴らしい一年を過ごすことができました。

年の初めを振り返ると、1月は「今年も生徒たちが楽しく成長できる一年になりますように」という願いとともにスタートしました。

2月には毎年恒例のクラス替えがあり、生徒たちが他のクラスの仲間と知り合う良い機会になりました。春のキャンペーンでは新しい生徒たちを迎え、新しいクラスに出会えるのも嬉しい時間でした。

3月にはセント・パトリックス・デーをお祝いし、みんなが緑色の服を着て、まるでアイルランドの故郷に戻ったような気持ちにさせてくれました。

6月には英語ショッピングトリップに出かけ、また、まかいの牧場への日帰り旅行も行いました。動物たちと触れ合ったり、ピクニックをしたり、生徒たちはとても楽しんでいました。

8月には夏休み中に特別サマークラスをオープンし、英語のゲームやアクティビティで楽しい時間を過ごしました

10月には大きなイベント、ハロウィンパーティーがありました。とても楽しくて少しスプーキーな一週間で、みんな素晴らしい仮装をしてくれました。怖いものもあれば、面白いものもあり、どれも本当に素敵でした

11月には一年で最大のイベント、もちろんスピーチコンテストが開催されました。みんなが素晴らしい時間を過ごし、本当に魔法のような一日でした。

そして12月。先週末にはクリスマスパーティーを行いました。クリスマスゲーム、クラフト、お菓子や飲み物を楽しみ、最後にはサンタが登場子どもたちにプレゼントを届けるために、はるばる北極から飛んできてくれました。ハリオへの道に迷ってしまったサンタは、そりから電話をかけてきました。子どもたちが「ここだよー」と大きな声で叫ぶと、サンタの“スーパー聴力”でその声が届き、その声を頼りにハリオまで来てくれました。生徒たちはサンタに会えて大喜びで、質問もたくさんしていました。
