It’s Time to Sign up for the Picnic!

Hello everyone,

The end of April approaches and Golden week is on the way! I’ve been asking our students what their plans are for the holiday. Many of them will stay home and either chill out or study. Some of them will use the time to visit relatives. A few will take a trip somewhere, however trips aren’t as popular as I expected. Many people avoid travelling in Golden Week because everyone has this holiday at the same time, so traffic will be heavy, especially on the highways. That’s why it’s a good idea to stay local and find something to do in your own town. The weather is usually good during this holiday, so plan to find some nice parks to walk around in Shizuoka prefecture. What are your plans for the vacation?

It’s time to sign up for the Hario Picnic! Slots are filling up fast this week as our students are signing up for the picnic at Makino Farm on June 7th. It’s going to be a great day, with games to play and we’ll have fun with the farm animals. Makino farm isn’t far from Fuji City, about a 45 minute drive. Most of our students are familiar with the place, so they are excited about going with us. I’ve been there many times over the years, so I know the kids will enjoy themselves. It’s a great, big farm with lots to do. So, to all of our elementary students: sign up for the Hario Picnic!

4月も終わりに近づき、ゴールデンウィークがやってきますね！私は生徒たちに、GWの予定を尋ねてみました。

多くの人が家でゆっくりしたり、勉強したりする予定だそうです。一部の生徒は親戚を訪ねる時間にするそうです。

旅行を計画している人もいますが、思ったほど多くはありません。ゴールデンウィーク中は皆が同じ時期に休暇を取るので、交通量が多くなるため、旅行を避ける人が多いようです。そのため、地元で過ごして、地域で楽しめることを見つけるのがおすすめです。この時期は通常、天気が良いので、静岡県内の素敵な公園を散策する計画を立ててみてはいかがでしょうか。

お申込みもどんどん来てます。６月７日にまかいの牧場で行います。

この日はゲームを楽しんだり、農場の動物たちと触れ合ったりと、とても楽しい1日になりそうです。まかいの牧場は富士市から車で約45分のところにあり、多くの学生が知っている場所です。そのため、一緒に行けることを楽しみにしているようです。私も何度も訪れていますが、子どもたちが楽しめる素晴らしい農場です。たくさんのアクティビティがあり、広々とした場所ですので、楽しめること間違いなし！小学生の皆さん、ぜひ「ハリオ・ピクニック」に申し込んでください！
