Day trip to Hayama 葉山への旅行

Hello everyone,

September is here and it`s officially Autumn. I can feel a change in the weather already, It`s a little cooler now. There are less mosquitos bothering me this week too!

I`ve been driving for just over a year now, so I was quite nervous about driving 200km to Hayama last weekend. We were attending a friends wedding at a hotel on the beachfront. It was the farthest I`ve ever driven in one day. It was well worth the journey, Hayama has some beautiful beaches. We took a walk along Morito Beach, although I discovered a baby`s buggy isn`t easy to roll along the sand! It`s a very popular spot for surfers, we saw many people along the coastline catching waves. I was worried about driving for several hours with a baby in the car but she slept soundly for the entire journy there and back. I feel more confident about driving on the highways now, and I look forward to travelling farther and discovering more of Japan in the near future. Next time I`m going to see how far west I can drive in a day.

9月に入り、もう秋ですね。少しずつ涼しくなってきました。今週は大嫌いな蚊も少ないです！

先週、神奈川県にある葉山町まで、友人の結婚式に参加するために、約200Kmの道のりを運転しました。まだ運転歴が1年くらいなので、とても緊張しました。

海岸にあるホテルでの結婚式でした。1日にこんなに長い距離を運転したのは初めてでしたが、葉山では美しい海岸も見ることができ、長距離運転がんばってよかったです。うば車をビーチで押すのは大変でしたが、森戸海岸の海岸沿いを散歩しました。サーファーたちの間でとても人気があるようで、波に乗っている人たちがたくさんいました。
