Hello everyone!

 

I hope you all enjoyed the Winter Vacation! I know this year has been difficult and most of us were not able to have our usual winter holidays. Having another holiday at home can be rough. It seems as though things won’t get back to normal for a while but at least we have gotten used to it!

 

While last year wasn’t a good one at all, we can still look towards positive things in 2021. I’ve asked all my returning students what they want to achieve or start this year, big or small. Some students have said they want to learn a new song on the piano, others want to climb Mt. Fuji and others want to watch the Kimetsu no Yaiba movie 10 times!

 

One thing I want to do this year is study more history. Since I was in elementary school I’ve always loved reading about the past. Japan has SO much history that I have yet to learn! So as soon as things go back to normal I want to visit more museums and castles, but until then I’ll learn from books and the internet.

みなさん、こんにちは。マットです。

冬休みはどうでしたか。コロナのため、誰もがいつもと同じ冬やすみではなかったですよね。

しばらくは厳しい状況が続きそうですが、我慢のときです。

２０２０年はあまりいい年ではなかったかもしれませんが、２０２１年は前向きにいきましょう。

生徒達に今年の目標などを聞きました。新しい曲をピアノでひきたい、富士山に登りたい、キメツを１０回はみたいなどなど。

私の今年やりたいことは、歴史を学ぶことです。小学校ぐらいから私は歴史の本を読むのがだいすきでした。

日本にはたくさんの歴史がありますが、私はまだそれらを知りません。

コロナの状況が落ち着いたきたら、まず博物館や城などに行きたいです。

それまでは本やインターネットが学びたいと思っています。

 

皆さんは２０２１年にやりたいこと、目標などはありますか。
