Trip to Okinawa

Hello everyone,

This past week for the summer holiday we went to beautiful Okinawa. It was my first time there though my girlfriend has been many times before. She is an Okinawa expert! It was a great trip as we were able to see and do so many things like kayaking, snorkeling and exploring. Since Okinawa is quite small, we were able to drive all over the island. After flying into Naha we drove up the coast until we reached our humble island getaway, Sesoko Island.

Sesoko Island is very small, you could easily walk around the entire island in around an hour, but it was lovely. We took a walk to the nearest beach for some snorkeling! The water was crystal clear and as soon as we put our heads underwater there were fish and colourful coral everywhere! We saw nearly the entire cast of creatures from Finding Nemo, it was amazing.

Another thing to mention is the food in Okinawa. We tried to eat as many local foods as we can. My favourites being the grape seaweed, Okinawa goya and the many flavours of ice cream! Maybe we ate too much food and ice cream, but it was worth it. We will have time to hit the gym later.

みなさんこんにちは。

先週の１週間は、夏休みで私は美しい海のある沖縄へ行ってきました私にとっては初めての沖縄でしたが、私の彼女は何度も行ったことがあります。彼女は沖縄のエキスパートです色々な物を見たり食べたりすることができ、すばらしい旅行でした。例えばカヤック、シュノーケリング、探検などをしました。沖縄はとても小さいので島中をドライブすることができました那覇へ飛んだあと海岸沿いを質素な島の入口、瀬底島にたどり着くまで車を走らせました。

瀬底島はとても小さく、島中を一時間で歩いて簡単に回ることができましたが、とても素敵でしたわたしたちはシュノーケリングをしに近くの浜まで散歩しました。水は透き通っており。水に潜るとそこには魚とカラフルなサンゴ礁があちこちにありましたわたしたちはニモに出てくるほとんどの登場人物をを見ました。とても感動しました
