Hello everyone!

I hope everyone is doing well and staying safe during the flu season and especially with the Corona Virus spreading around the world. During these times it’s important to remember some simple things to stay safe!

We all know that washing your hands with soap for 20 seconds is always the best defense and if you are someone close to you is feeling ill then be sure to stay at home. You may feel fine but still have the flu or Corona and it would be terrible if someone else became terribly sick! We all know people who are older or have medical issues so be extra careful to protect yourself, your loved ones and other people’s loved ones.

One thing that we learned as children was the Vampire Cough! Sounds silly right? But it’s one of the best ways to stop the spreading of the cold, flu or Corona. If you ever feel the need to cough or sneeze, don’t cough into your hands or a face mask, bring your arm and elbow up to your face and cough, like a vampire would! Vampires aren’t just creatures of the night looking for blood, they can be helpful too!

コロナウィルスのニュースが絶えない中、みなさん安全にお過ごしですか。

ウィルスの予防をするには、２０秒ほど石鹸で手を洗うのが一番の方法だといわれています。

そして具合の悪い人は絶対に外に出ず家で安静にすることが大事です。

体調がよくなったと思っても、まだウィルスは完全に体からなくなっていない場合があります。

間違った判断でウィルスを他人に移したら大変です。

特に高齢者や持病をもった人には注意しなければなりません。

ですから最新の注意を払いましょう。自分自身にも、周りの人にも。

子供の時に習った「吸血鬼の咳」というものがあります。名前はちょっと面白いですよね。

でも「吸血鬼の咳」は、風やインフル、ウィルスを他にまき散らさないようにする一番の方法です。

咳をしたいとき、くしゃみしたいときは、手の中やマスクの中にするのではなく、腕とひじを顔で覆ってしましょう。これが吸血鬼のようだからその名前がついています。「吸血鬼の咳」やってみてください。
