Hello everyone!

It’s now the end of March and Spring is here! The weather is getting warmer and the cherry trees are blossoming. It’s a difficult time in the wolrd but we can still enjoy the season safely.

Cherry blossoms are of course the most popular thing to see during Spring. There are many places and festivals all over Japan to enjoy their beautiful colours. Now many of these festivals are cancelled, which they should be, but you can still go out to local areas! Be sure to keep your distance from other people, wear a mask and wash your hands often for 20 seconds with soap. Try to avoid places with large groups of people like trains and restaurants. You can still have a picnic in the park if you plan ahead!

This year we haven’t been able to enjoy the usual festivals we attend but we have been going on some nice bike rides away from the centre of Fuji.

みなさん、こんにちは。マットです。

三月ももう終わりです。春がきます。温かくなり桜も咲き始めました。世界は大変な中にありますが、春の訪れを楽しみたいものです。春と言えは桜です。日本中のいたるところで桜まつりがありますが、今年は中止ですね。しょうがないことです。それでも近くの場所で桜を楽しむことはできます。でかけるときは人との距離をあけて、マスクをし、手洗いをきちんとしましょう。電車やレストランなど人が集まるところに行くのは避けましょうね。外でピクニックはできますね。
