This week my colleagues are so busy working hard to help our students 📚

I look forward to hearing my students express themselves more in our conversation classes 💭🗣🌈

 

Some time ago I read an interesting article about how language exposure can affect people’s academic achievement 📈

When my colleagues aren’t so busy, some of us occasionally have lunch together 🍱

 

While we eat, we watch videos on YouTube. Since the videos are usually in English, my Japanese colleagues can get more exposure to English phrases, and sometimes they’ll ask me about a new phase they hadn’t heard before  💭❓

 

Even if the language in the video is familiar to them, we enjoy watching an entertaining video together. For example, we might watch a video by a person named Jun whose channel is called JunsKitchen

 

His videos are cute because they feature his cats, who he cooks for 😻🍣

みなさんこんにちは、ジェラルドです。

今週私の同僚は生徒たちのお手伝いでとても忙しくしていました。

英会話クラスでみなさんが自分のことをたくさん話してくれことを楽しみにしています。

 

いつだったか、学校の成績において、言語に触れることがいかに影響するかについて書かれたおもしろい記事を読みました。

 

同僚があまり忙しくないときに、何人かで時々ランチを一緒に食べます。

食べながらYouTubeで動画を見ます。動画はいつも英語なので、日本人の同僚は英語のフレーズにより親しむことができます。そしてたまに聞いたことがないフレーズを私に質問したりします。

 

ビデオのなかの言語を知らなくても、映像は一緒に楽しむことができます。例えばジュンという人の「JunsKitchen」という動画です。

 

彼の動画はペットの猫のために料理をするというかわいいものです。

英語のYouTube動画を見るのは好きですか？
