Hello,

I wonder how many people slept soundly in Fuji last night. I certainly didn`t, we had a huge typhoon that passed through very loudly. I heard that the center, or eye, of the storm passed directly over Fuji city, so we got the full force of the storm. Luckily it has all cleared up today and apart from some wind this morning, the worst has passed. I could feel the wind and rain hammering against the windows and shaking the house last night. I had never really experienced a typhoon before so it was quite a scary thing to hear. I heard that this typhoon was the worst that Japan has had since 2004, nine years ago! Hopefully that is the last one we see this year, I`m not a big fan of heavy wind and rain, especially when I have to cycle to work! The temperature has well and truly changed, and so fast too. It was still very hot last week, and now we are getting close to winter temperatures. There`s a real nip in the air this evening. It`s time to put the winter blankets back on the bed. Stay warm!

昨夜は富士市で何人の人が眠ることができたのかと思います。

私は寝れませんでした。

 

台風がものすごい音を立てて通過していきまいた。

台風の目？嵐の目が富士市を通り過ぎたと聞きました。それはもう勢いがすごかったですね。

しかし幸運にも、今は晴れあがり、大型台風は去っていきましたが、

昨夜は、雨と風が窓を打ち付け、風で家が揺れました。こんな経験は生まれて初めてでした。

なにより、台風が初体験です。

２００４年以来の一番大きな台風という話を聞いていたので、来る前から少し怖くも思いました。

これが今年、最後の台風だといいのですが。

私は自転車で通っているので、風も雨も好みません。

 

しかし、台風が去ったあとは、天気が大きく変わりました。気温の変化が日本は激しいですね。

先週までの暑さが信じられません。

毛布を押し入れから出す時がやってきました。
