Hello everyone,

The weather is changing fast! It’s becoming colder now and it’s a rainy week here. I hope the sun comes out again soon. With the changing of the seasons the temperature can go up and down like a yo-yo!

Here at Hario, we’re making preparations for our Halloween week, starting next Wednesday 25th to Tuesday 31st. It’s only 8 days away! Is your costume ready yet? Some of our class times will change slightly for the special week, so make sure you check the time to come. I can guarantee lots of fun, games, English, and frights to keep out students entertained. Don’t be too scared, and remember to say “trick or treat”!

 

Our speech homework is almost finished. Many of our students can now say all of their speech, and are busy perfecting their pronunciation and intonation. They will all get the chance to perform at our mini-speech contest parent’s day here at Hario in November. We have finalised the dates of each class so our parents can come along and watch their kids dazzle us with their performance. We have also chosen a few students who can go to the Hario Speech Contest at La Hall on November 23rd. I would like if every student could come, but we have over 100 speeches, so it would take days to finish the show! That’s why we can only choose a portion of them to come. I’m really proud of the work that all of our students have put into their speeches. Our Apricot and 10th rank students are also hard at work, practicing singing and dancing for the big performance on stage. Good luck to everyone, keep practicing and see you in November.

みなさん、こんにちは。

急に、気候が変わりましたね。寒くなり、雨が続いています。

もうすぐ晴れるといいですが。

HARIOではハロウィンパーティの準備が始まっています。ハロウィンパーティは１１月２５日～３１日です。あと８日しかありません。

みなさん、コスチュームの準備はできましたか

ハロウィンウィークは、授業時間が異なります。今一度、ハロウィンウィークの週のスケジュールを確認してくださいね。（幼児クラス～小学生まで対象）ハロウィンパーティでは、たくさんの楽しくて怖ーい英語のアクティビティが用意されています。でも怖がりすぎないでくださいね。トリックorトリートと言うのを忘れないでね

 

そしてスピーチホームワークも、もうすぐ終わりを迎えます。多くの生徒の皆さんが、スピーチを全部言えるようになりました。今は、発音やイントネーションに部分を修正しています。

来月から行われるミニスピーチコンテスト（PLS８級以上のPLSクラス対象）が行われ、そこでスピーチホームワークを披露します。

そして１１月２３日、ラホール富士で行われるスピーチコンテストの出場者が決定しました。本当は、皆さんにスピーチコンテストに出場してほしいのですが、１００人以上あるスピーチでは数日かかってしまいます。その理由で、上位３割のスピーチを選びコンテストを行っています。スピーチホームワークをしたすべての生徒の皆さんに頑張りを称えます。よく頑張りました。スピーチコンテスト又はミニスピーチコンテストまでスピーチの練習をこのまま続けて頑張ってくださいね。
