Hello everyone,

It’s almost September, and that means the summer vacation is nearly over. Our students are going back to school this week. They have been very busy finishing their summer homework. That combined with summer classes, cram school and club activities have made it a busy summer vacation for most of our students. Maybe they’ll have more free time during the school term! It think it’s a good idea to keep studying during the break. I have found it very difficult to get back into the routine of studying after a long break from it. It’s much easier to have the motivation to do something once it’s part of your routine.

Speaking of starting school, my daughter will start kindergarten this Friday. The regular school term begins in April, but they have an early beginner’s class for three year olds at our local kindergarten. It’s exciting to see her as a student and it seems like the time has flown by. I have seen the school and all of students have fun, so I hope she enjoys her time there.

 

みなさん、こんにちは。もう９月ですね。ということは、夏も終わりに近づいているということです。今週から生徒の皆さんは学校が始まりましたね。みな宿題に忙しくしていました。HARIOの夏期講習、塾、学校の夏休みの宿題まで。学校が始まった方が、自由な時間が増えるかもしれませんね。休みの間も勉強を欠かさないのはいいことだと思います。私の国では夏休みの宿題というものがなかったので、休み明けに学校に戻り、勉強する感覚を取り戻すのに苦労した覚えがあります。

 

学校が始まると言えば、私の娘は今週から幼稚園に通い始めます。普通は４月から始まりますが、娘の幼稚園では３才児のプレスクールがあります。娘が通園する日がとても楽しみです。また娘には幼稚園を楽しんでほしいです。
