Hello everyone, I hope you had a good Golden Week! As some of you have heard, I spent some of my week in Niigata with my friends. We went to hot springs in the mountains, which are still covered in so much snow. Also, we ate local specialties like gengyo (dried fish), and other tasty fish.

The drive on the way back was nice, but when we passed by the Shiba Sakura Festival on route 139, traffic was so slow, and it took us hours just to get through the line up of cars and into Fuji. In the end though, we had fun.

What did you do for Golden Week? I hope you spent some time studying!

みなさんこんにちは

みなさんゴールデンウィークは楽しかったですか！聞いたことがある人も居るかもしれませんが、

私は何週間か友達と新潟で過ごしました。

山の温泉に行きました。そこはまだたくさんの雪に覆われていました。

また、わたしたちは特産物である幻魚(げんぎょ…干した魚)というものと他にも美味しい魚を食べました。

 

帰りのドライブは良かったです。が、139号線で芝さくらまつりを通り過ぎたときとても渋滞しており、列を通り抜けて富士市に入るのに何時間もかかりました。

結果的には楽しかったですが。

 

ゴールデンウィークは何をしましたか？勉強にも時間を使っていてくれたら嬉しいです。
