Hello everyone!

I hope you all are enjoying the extended summer weather we have been having. Who knew it would be this warm in October? October is a special month for me for 2 reasons, Halloween and playoff baseball!

Every year in October the best teams in the Nippon Professional Baseball league and Major League Baseball battle to determine the best team for that year. This year in NPB the Hanshin Tigers were able to reach the Climax Series by 1 game over the Hiroshima Carp! It was a very exciting final game, unfortunately a sad outcome for all the Carp fans at HARIO.

So which teams qualified this year? In the NPB we have the Tigers, Baystars, Giants, Eagles, Hawks and Lions. Big surprises in the Tigers, Lions and Eagles doing so well! I think we’ll see a Baystars vs Eagles final with the Baystars winning!

In MLB we have the Dodgers, Nationals, Braves, Cardinals, Twins, Yankees, Astros and Rays. I think it will be the Dodgers vs Twins in the World Series with the Twins winning it all!

Who do you think will be the champions of baseball in 2019? Let me know!

みなさん、長い夏を楽しんでいますか。１０月なのになぜこんなに暖かいのでしょう。10月は２つの特別なことがあります。それは、ハロウィンと野球のプレイオフです。

毎年、日本もメジャーも１０月に優勝チームがきまるプレイオフがあります。今年は、阪神タイガースが広島カープとたった１ゲーム差でクライマックスシリーズに進出することになりました。とても楽しみです。HARIOのカープファンの皆さん、残念でしたね。

今年はどのチームが勝でしょう。タイガース、ベイスターズ、ジャイアンツ、イーグルス、ホークス、そしてライオンズ。タイガース、ライオンズ、イーグルスがファイナルに行ったのは意外の結果でした。私は決勝はベイスターズ対イーグルスで、ベイスターズが優勝すると思います。メジャーリーグでは、ドジャース、ナショナルズ、ブレイブス、カージナルス、トゥィンズ、ヤンキーズ、アストロズそれとレイズがファイナルに進出しました。ドジャースとトゥインズが決勝にいき、トゥインズが優勝すると思います。
