Hello everyone!

 

I hope everyone is doing well. I would also like to congratulate our Speech Contest contestants! It was extremely hard to choose who will be going to the 2020 HARIO Speech Contest as so many students did a great job with their speeches. We could half easily had the whole school there! Be sure to practice well and you’ll do great.

 

It’s October and that means one thing, Halloween! Every year in October I like to watch some scary movies. Zombies, vampires, ghosts, monsters, killers, and cute fluffy pets. Wait…cute fluffy pets? Of course! Gremlins! You may have seen the character Gizmo from Gremlins in many places but have you watched the movie? It’s really good. It has a good amount of scary moments and some really fun puppets and effects. The movie takes place during Christmas time so you can watch it for Halloween or the end of the year.

みなさん、こんにちは。マットです。

まず最初に、スピーチコンテストに選抜された皆さん、おめでとうございます。今年も素晴らしいスピーチばかりで、審査が非常に難航しました。ここから１１月３日まで、さらにスピーチに磨きをかけてください。

もう１０月ですね。１０月といえばそう、ハロウィンです。この時期はゾンビや吸血鬼、モンスター、ふわふわペットなどの怖い映画を見るのがすきです。え、ちょっとまって。ふわふわペット？もちろん、これはグレムリンのことです。皆さんは、この映画をみたことがありますか。とってもいい映画です。ホラーな部分もあり、かわいい部分もあり。映画はクリスマスに起こったことから始まっていますので、ハロウィンかクリスマスシーズンに見てみてください。

皆さんは、グレムリンをみたことがありますか。グレムリン２はどうですか？皆さんがすきなハロウィン映画はなんですか。
